陈英:约翰霍普金斯大学神经科学博士,哈佛大学博士后。曾在国际知名生物公司先后担任研发部研究员、高级研究员、研发部副总监职务,拥有建立高通量ORF克隆技术并完成人类16,000种ORF克隆生产,人类基因腺病毒库的生产。现担任我公司副总经理,分管公司研发生产与技术支持。
陈英博士在北京大学生命科学学院开始就师从中国科学院院士翟中和从事细胞核骨架和细胞核在体外重建的研究,并在翟中和实验室完成硕士的学习。自本科期间就在实验生物学报,中国科学和 cell research发表三篇论文。在北大期间一共发表学术文章六篇,包括在两篇国外期刊。毕业论文被评为毕业生优秀论文,收藏于北京大学图书馆。
陈英博士在约翰霍普金斯大学医学院博士学习期间,研究集中于神经细胞内凸处后端的受体和细胞微丝的结构和功能组织,发现了一种新的微丝结合蛋白,并确认了该蛋白在受体和细胞微丝的结构和功能组织中的重要作用。该研究多次被同行引用,并被其他研究人员在实验中独立验证。在此基础上发表了研究论文两篇,和合作论文一篇。
陈英博士在哈佛大学儿童医院从事博士后研究期间(2004-2007),主要从事维生素NAD在保护神经细胞损伤,和activin/TGFβ信号传导在促进神经细胞再生方面的研究。与他人合作发表论文一篇。他与其他两家实验室同时独立地发现了activin/TGFβ信号传导在促进神经细胞再生方面的作用,其研究结果与约翰霍普金斯大学医学院一家实验室的结果类似,这一研究结果受到知名期刊评委的好评,相关研究曾在冷泉港神经生物学会议中报告。陈英博士在研究中发现一种化合物可以抑制activin/TGFβ信号传导并可以促进神经细胞损伤后的修复,这一结果在其他两家实验室也都得到了验证,在博士后的这两项研究均已申请专利。
